The finance and administration department encompasses five main areas the purpose of which is to provide professional and carefully planned services. The smooth functioning of the department depends; to a large extent, on reliance on highly trained and fairly rewarded human capital.
The head of the department provides the leadership, policy direction and technical support to all employees for the purpose of delivering timely services to the revenue generating departments.

The main purpose of this post is to provide strategic leadership and guidance in developing and implementing guidelines and procedures governing finance, human resources and administration, support systems, procurement and logistic and IT infrastructure.
The department adopts an integrated view on strategy and corporate finance. We do this by unlocking value through restructuring opportunities, innovative financing, capital markets diagnostic and lessons from principal investors.
We view the Human Resources function as strategically proactive partner for the top management. HR ensures that its role, activities and processes add value to the company. We believe that the goal of human resources management is to help the company to meet strategic goals by attracting, and maintaining employees and also to manage them effectively. Our approach to HRM seeks to ensure a fit between the management of the company's employees and the overall strategic direction of the company. We achieve the above targets through detailed functions of HRM which include:-

The department also undertakes the function of procurement and logistics. The purpose here is to acquire goods and/or services at the best possible total cost of ownership, in the right quantity and quality, at the right time, in the right place and from the right source for the direct benefit or use of revenue generating departments. The ERP software used at procurement streamlines the requisitioning, approval, purchasing Management, receiving and inventory control.
HOSC’s modern fleet has necessitated building sophisticated IT system to back its operation. The need for on time communications is vital to sustain operation.
Our information technology umbrella is quite large, covering many fields. HOSC,s IT professional team performs a variety of duties that range from installing applications to designing complex computer networks and information databases. A few of the duties that IT performs includes data management, networking, engineering computer hardware, database and software design, as well as the management and administration of the entire systems.
