POLICY :

As a responsible marine operator, Halul Offshore Services Company is committed to the provision of a safe and healthy working environment for all employees, contractors and visitors, and to the protection of the environment. In line with this commitment, every practicable effort will be made to eliminate the risk of injury, property damage, process loss and damage to the environment.

OBJECTIVES :

In furtherance of this Policy, the Company’s objectives are:-

To implement and maintain a safety and environmental protection management system that is equal to the world’s best practice, to ensure safe ship operation and protection of the environment.
To ensure compliance with all relevant statutory laws, regulations and guidelines relating to occupational health and safety and environmental protection.
To operate, maintain and equip ships, in a manner that will prevent accidents to personnel, property &/or damaging the environment.
To ensure that all employees are aware of their responsibilities in accordance with Company and statutory requirements.
To encourage employees to participate in the formulation of safety and environmental protection strategies

RESPONSIBILITIES :

The ultimate responsibility for the implementation of this Policy rests with the General Manager. However, It is the Head of Department Managers, Manager/Officers, Superintendents, Supervisors and all other employees working with Halul Offshore Services Company are responsible for the application and maintenance of this Policy. This can only be achieved through regular and effective consultation, training and communication.
