The construction and maintenance department has the expertise and capability of designing, fabricating and installing complex structures required by the oil & gas industry, besides carrying out preventive maintenance and repair of offshore structures in the oil fields. The department offers extensive resources and facilities for execution of mechanical, structural, piping, instrumentation and electrical projects in offshore oilfields.

The offshore construction & maintenance vessels, managed and operated by the department, are fully equipped floating workshops which rapidly mobilize to site for carrying out preventive and breakdown maintenance. The vessels are staffed with competent structural engineers, draftsmen, NDT engineers, field engineers, piping engineers, electrical and instrumentation personnel welders/ fabricators, scaffolding personnel, etc. The vessels have heat treatment facilities for stress relieving of small and medium sized components.
Besides this the department provides call-out services for design, fabrication, installation, & maintenance of onshore and offshore structures.
